Fogged in, in Shanghai!

We were schedule to leave Shanghai on an 8:30 flight on Wednesday morning. We left the hotel at 5:30 without knowing that the airport was closed the night before due to fog and was still closed. It re-opened around 7:30 but all flights were delayed, planes were not in Shanghai airport to make connecting flights and it was a mess. We hung around the airport, read, slept, shopped, ate and got bored. I worked on my translating the text for a video of the Swampscott Middle School which we are showing to the school in Beijing we are teaching at.

The flight finally took off and we reached Xian- ready to kiss the ground after a very bumpy flight at 4:30.
